Introduction to Stata
Update 17.02.22 The Federal Council and the Canton of Bern have decided that almost all protective measures are lifted with immediate effect. For our courses, this means in particular that the obligation to wear masks indoors and the obligation to obtain a certificate will no longer apply.
Despite the lifting of the protective measures, the coronavirus is still with us. We therefore appeal to your personal responsibility to show consideration for one another and continue to adhere to the hygiene rules which have been established.
Description
Stata is intensively used in the medical science, both for statistical analyses and for supporting data managers and monitors. In this workshop we will learn how to use Stata step-by-step: the looks, basics, data import/export, labelling/formatting, data manipulation, good practices, help, essential statistics.
It is essential that each participant brings her/his own lap-top with a recent version of Stata installed.
In order to prepare well and to benefit the most of the course it is obligatory to have studied the online Stata Learning Modules; so the course will only refresh what you learned online, or cover what you did not completely understand using these online modules (Fundamentals to Intermediate Data Management)
