Clinical Investigators I: Basic GCP & clinical research training

This is a course split in two parts. The first part consists of self-learning and home-based exercises. You will receive a mail with all the relevant exercises and reading material about three weeks before the course day. For the second part, participants will attend the lectures and workshops. The course is designed to introduce basic concepts of patient-oriented clinical research to health care professionals involved in the recruitment of study participants.   • Tuesday, 15 February 2022
    This course will be held online on zoom
    1 full day: 8:15-17:30

  • Tuesday, 19 + 26 April 2022
    This course will be held on site at Mittelstrasse 43, 3012 Bern
    2 half days: 8:15-12:25 (on 19 April) and 13:25-17:30 (on 26 April)

  • Tuesday, 09 + 16 August 2022
    This course will be held online on zoom
    2 half days: 8:15-12:25 (on 9 August) and 13:25-17:30 (on 16 August)

Due to the pandemic and the associated official restrictions, individual modules or parts thereof may be carried out digitally or postponed.

Voluntary Exam

After each course a voluntary exam can be written to receive 1 ECTS. The exam is written in the week after the course. It is written online from home and the participants have one week to take the exam whenever fits best with their schedule.
