Description
Stata is intensively used in the medical science, both for statistical analyses and for supporting data managers and monitors. In this workshop we will learn how to do statistical inference with Stata. Basic statistical methods for the analysis of continuous, binary, count and time-to-event data will be covered, e.g. linear and logistic regression, or Cox proportional hazard models.
It is essential that each participant brings her/his own laptop with a recent version of Stata installed and running.
In order to benefit the most of the course it is obligatory to have participated in the introductory course (“Introduction to Stata”) or have a good working knowledge of Stata. You should also be familiar with the fundamentals of statistics.
