30.09.2014

Save the date! FOPH symposium, 27 January 2015, 13:15–17:00, Hotel Bern, Bern

The new Human Research Act and related ordinances have been in force since 1 January 2014. At the FOPH symposium, various experts who are directly affected by the new regulations take stock for the first time. At the same time the focus is on the new EU ordinance on clinical trials involving medicinal products for human use as well as its potential implications for Switzerland. The concluding outlook provides information on possible future developments for human research regulation in Switzerland.

The FOPH symposium provides the opportunity to keep abreast of the current state of enforcement in human research regulation. In addition, the symposium aims to highlight the implications of the new EU ordinance on clinical trials involving medicinal products for human use and to gauge its implications for Swiss legislation. Participants will learn how the Human Research Act and related ordinances are managed and what the options are for possible adjustments in future.

Further information will follow in November 2014.
